The first and most important step in producing terrific embroidery is to create high quality digitizing. Digitizing is the process of converting the art for your design into a set of precise, artistically-interpreted, and production-driven instructions that our computerized embroidery machines can follow. Nothing else in the production process can compensate for a poorly digitized design. Once the sample or proof of the digitized work is approved by the client, we can proceed to the actual production stage. It is at this point in the process where our machine operators are able to obtain the best possible results from the digitized design files by using best-in-class production techniques and materials.
We meticulously match our thread colors to your artwork (based on visual matching or PMS color matching if available) or colors from other thread manufacturers. With over 200 thread colors available, matching a design is easy. Oak & Twine uses high-quality rayon & polyester thread. Although embroidery works best with simple, low color count logos or artwork (photographs and artwork with fine detail or small lettering usually can not be embroidered), our machines allow up to 15 thread colors per logo, in addition to an exclusive 270-degree hat frame that allows us to embroider hat fronts and side logos.
